The Bishop Gorman Gaels completed the 2023 season 12-0, 5A NIAA State Champions and ranked #1 in the nation by multiple rankings services. The Gales defeated the Liberty Patriots 10-3 (#2 Nevada) for the second time this season with the Patriots only other loss coming to St John Bosco. Gormans other notable wins came against Corner Canyon, #18 nationally, #19 Corona Centennial, Miami Central (then ranked #5 currently #25) and Long Beach Poly (10-2 ranked #93 nationally)
