Harshita is a 16 year old entrepreneur and programmer who dropped out of school to start-up at the age of 14. Since then, she has been highly involved with the developers community and recently came to fame with her iOS app ‘Crypto Price Tracker’, which topped the App Store charts in the Finance category. In this TEDx talk, Harshita talks about her journey, her motivations, her fame and an unfortunate experience that she had to face as a result of this fame. As a young entrepreneur from a small town in India, she shares invaluable insights applicable to most of today’s tech-savvy youth looking to start-up unconventionally. Harshita is a 16 y/o unschooler. She has been designing and programming iOS apps since 1-2 years. She was the youngest intern at Salesforce, Bangalore in 2016. She attended the MIT Launch program in summer 2017 where she co-founded her first startup, Universeaty. After that, she worked on an iOS app, Crypto Price Tracker, released the app on 28th January this year and within 24 hours of launch, it was already #2 in the Top Charts in Finance category.
