Sword Master (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

Описание к видео Sword Master (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A beginning to end playthrough of Activision's 1992 NES game, Sword Master.

An extremely good looking and sounding, somewhat creaky playing NES platformer. The game's presentation is fantastic, but there are some really obnoxious places in the game that are virtual impossible to complete without getting absolutely hammered. While technically there is a double-jump move, the input has to be so @#$% precise that it's not in the slightest bit reliable.

I can only imagine that these spots were stuck in to make an incredibly short game seem a bit longer. It's a lot of fun when everything is working well, which is most of the time... but I hope you have a lot of patience to figure out how to get through the couple real trouble spots if you want to see it through to the end. Thankfully there are really only a couple spots this affects, and otherwise the controls are excellent, but still.... those couple of snags!

It's an excellent game that's has been unfairly forgotten. It sports a super dark-style shading to effect far more detailed graphics (like The Immortal), has some pretty amazing music loaded with samples, and plays like Castle of Dragon - sans poo. I've loved this game since the first time I've played it, and it doesn't seem like it's going to go sour on me anytime soon yet.
