Speed Painting of Jesus in 4 minutes!

I'm practicing more speed painting! I want to transition to a larger canvas as soon as I get the hang of the smaller ones. It's so fun learning!

Some tips that I used to help me with this: a big one was that an artist friend of mine told me to use textured white paint to mark reference points of where I would need to use the black paint. It's put on beforehand. That is the key in me making this happen at this point in my artist Journey. Over time I hope to do it independently.

Just a disclaimer: Please remember that this is a negative space painting. This is supposed to be black and white, and no color or race is implied. I understand Jesus was a Jewish middle easterner. I also know I'll be accused of making a graven image just for painting this. I'd encourage people to look at those passages in the old testament and read what *exactly a graven image is*, then observe if that's indeed what's going on here.
