Before setting sale on a Royal Caribbean cruise, everyone must complete a safety briefing, which includes watching a video with lifejacket instructions, listening to a recording of the emergency alarm, and visiting the muster assembly station when boarding. Just before setting sale, the captain does a final safety briefing, which includes activating the alarm. This is the captain's final safety briefing before we set sale on Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas. This was recorded on May 31 before departing on a seven night cruise out of Cape Liberty, recorded from my stateroom. Please note that the alarm is loud, you may wish to turn down your sound volume.
