First Mallards! Wisconsin Flooded Corn Field Duck Hunt

Duck hunting a flooded corn field opening week #somewhereinwisconsin. This was the first time I have ever hunted a flooded cornfield in Wisconsin. Actually it was the first time I have ever hunted corn at all. My buddy killed his first ever duck and we shot 2 mallards on the day. We could have shot a bunch more, but our early season shooting let us down! Good to get those kinks worked out. We wrapped up the early duck season with lots of ducks around.
