I recently replaced my worn out Shimano E01S brake pads with a set of new ones and when having a test ride I noticed that the front wheel seems to be excessively shifting to the left when I apply the brakes. Maybe it was doing it before, but I only noticed it now as I prefer to pay attention to what is happening on the road instead of staring at the front wheel when riding.
I would like to get a crowdsourced opinion regarding front wheel deflection/movement/shifting/flexing when applying a front mechanical disc brake.
Bike shop mechanics said that there is nothing to worry about, but I have scars to remind me to do some preventative maintenance and the wheel moves too much for my liking when I apply the brakes.
