I've recently acquired an ancient JVC HR-7200EA VHS VCR which was made around 1981 (the year I was born), so thought I'd do a test camera recording on it and one on a modern 2000s era Panasonic NV-SJ400 VHS and compare the quality between them two. So I got my 90s Panasonic NV-RX3 camcorder out and I did a recording on both VCRs. I figured that the quality on the old JVC would be a little inferior but on comparison, I found there is no difference at all, both recordings looked as good as each other! :) So here are the results of the two recordings on both VCRs made 20 years apart in this 8 minute video.
