The Flagstaff Shamrock 233S is a hybrid travel trailer with three expandable queen-size tent beds and one slide-out. Manufactured by Forest River, this lightweight RV is known for providing a large amount of sleeping space in a manageable towing length.

Key features

Sleeping capacity: With three queen tent beds and convertible sleeping space on the U-shaped dinette and flip sofa, the 233S can sleep up to nine or ten people.

Slide-out: A slide-out provides extra living space for the large U-shaped dinette, which can also be converted into a bed.

Full bath: The camper includes a full bathroom with a toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, and a corner shower with a skylight.

Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a three-burner cooktop, oven, microwave, undermount double-bowl sink, pantry, and a 12V refrigerator.
Exterior:

Power awning: A 17-foot power awning with adjustable rain dump and LED lights provides a comfortable outdoor living area.

Exterior griddle: An outside griddle with a dedicated LP hookup is included for cooking meals outdoors.

Solar power: Newer models are equipped with a 200W roof solar panel and an 1800W inverter.

Construction and towing:

Lightweight: Weighing just over 5,000 pounds (dry weight), the 233S is designed to be towed by many SUVs and smaller trucks.

Durable materials: The camper is constructed with a 6-sided aluminum frame, composite sidewalls, an enclosed underbelly, and a laminated one-piece roof.

Towing features: Other features include a power tongue jack, torsion axle Rubber-Ryde suspension, and Goodyear Endurance tires for smooth towing.

Flagstaff Shamrock vs. Rockwood Roo
The Flagstaff Shamrock and Rockwood Roo are sister brands produced by Forest River in the same factory.

Identical floor plans: For every Shamrock model, there is a corresponding Roo model with the exact same layout and specifications. The 233S is the same model for both brands.

Cosmetic differences: The primary difference lies in the cosmetic details, such as the color schemes, exterior graphics, and interior fabrics.

Marketing strategy: Forest River maintains both brands to expand its dealership network. By having two technically distinct brands, two dealers in the same area can sell virtually identical campers.
