This fight is one big gimmick...one big gimmick that makes this the most difficult boss to no damage in the entire game (imo). Heck, she even announces the real difficulty herself when jumping back on-stage: "Arena!"

It's hard to hate Kimmy with all the sick building up and the awesome pre-battle scenes, but if you can SS this boss in Death mode even if you are hit by the fire and lasers, you know Grasshopper didn't design her to be beaten without taking any damage. Fortunately, there are some patterns when and where the on-stage traps will go off as well as some safe spots, so you have some control over what's happening around you. Despite that, dealing with Kimmy takes much precision, fore-thought and attention to fight her both effectively and safely. On top of that, some of her attacks aren't easy to read, and one of her combos' first slash doesn't even give you the opportunity to perfectly dodge it - something that took me quite a while to notice.

To add insult to injury, the camera switches to the goddamn drone flying around the arena during the final part, making it very hard to keep track of which traps are activated where and to read Kimmy's attacks. You can destroy it to return things to normal...But I really wanted to go all-in with the challenge here and left it intact. Nicely enough, I think this adds much more style and makes this ordeal even more satisfying to watch.
