Homemade Salt Batteries running fans! salt batteries are easy to make and can power a variety of thermo-electric devices. in this video i show two DIY salt batteries running several thermoelectric fans. the fans themselves create their own electricity using the thermal energy stored in the salt. that electricity is then fed into the fans motor which turns the blades. note that sand can be used in place of the salt. for more info on using sand, check my channel for my sand-battery videos. lots of research on salt and sand batteries is currently underway around the world. it will be interesting to see how it progresses. please, rate, like, post comment and share video around with everyone 🙂⭐👍🙏

- the salt was heated on the stove (and/or in the oven) for the video *but many off-grid options are available too including campfires, camp stoves, propane stoves, charcoal stoves or grills, alcohol stoves and rocket stoves. some solar/greener options include a fresnel lens, parabolic dish cooker, solar oven, or 12v heating elements hooked to either a solar panel or a wind turbine.
