Nickel Plate Road 765 Berkshire steam locomotive made by Lionel.

This locomotive, 6-11212, was made by Lionel in 2010. Some of it's features include Legacy, Railsounds, Odyssey II speed control, an operating smoke unit, and an ElectroCoupler on the rear of the tender.

This train this locomotive is pulling consists of rolling stock made by Atlas O, Lionel, MTH, and Weaver Models. Bringing up the end of the train is a Lionel Northeastern style caboose.

The track is K-Line tubular with O-96 curves. And the train is being operated with Lionel Legacy.

The 765 was one of thirty class S-2 Berkshire's built by the Lima Locomotive Works for the New York, Chicago, and St. Louis, commonly known as the Nickel Plate Road, in 1944. The 765 was used in high speed freight service until it was retired in 1958.

Today the 765 is owned and operated by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and is still used in excursion service.
