One Life to Live 1/12/1989

The Fraternity Row cast throws a party to celebrate saving Megan’s job. Kevin hangs a “Welcome Home” banner for Viki just before she arrives home from the hospital. Wade and Mari Lynn agree to go away to the Caribbean for a long weekend together. Randy crashes the party and says anyone unwilling to go reshoot Megan’s planned death scene will be fired immediately. The head of the network arrives, invited by Jon who gives him proof that Randy was behind the porn film after all. The network executive fires Randy on the spot. Christine visits Viki at Llanfair, wanting to reiterate that what she said before was true, that Michael Grande is behind everything. Viki asks her, pointe blank, whether she knows where Leo is, and Christine admits she does but convinces Viki to let her try and bring Leo in voluntarily.

Michael arrives at Gabrielle’s house, ranting about how she is the only one he can trust. He asks her to destroy the Eterna uniform he left there the day before. Christine returns to Angel Burger where she manages to steal the antibiotics Leo needs from one of the other waitresses. Wade spills soup on the cop tailing Christine, allowing her to sneak out undetected. The officer arrests Wade as son nas he realizes Christine is gone. At Llanfair, Tina tries to show Viki the photo of the land on Llantano Mountain she’s chosen, but she can’t find the photo. Roger drops by to welcome Viki home, but shortly after he hears the photo of the poppy field on Llantano Mountain has gone missing, he makes an excuse and leaves abruptly. Tina has a thought: if Michael is behind Viki’s abduction, and Gabrielle is associated with Grande, could she have been an accomplice? On Llantano Mountain, Gabrielle searches for the spot where the photograph was taken. While there, she prepares to burn the Eterna uniform. Unbeknownst to her, Roger is watching from behind the bushes.
