This video is about Fomapan 400 120 film with my 75 years old camera 6x6 Medium Format Lipca Flexora. The older sister of another camera we saw on the channel, the Lipca Rollop. The same body made of injected aluminum, the same set of lenses and the same build quality, with small differences in design and operating mechanism. Both cameras have a red window for the film counter. The focus system on the Flexora is different. It is not a dial, but a lever on the front of the camera. Different and functional. The shutter is the same as the Rollop, Prontor SV, with a speed of up to 1/300 seconds and a timer. The big difference is how to load the film. On the Lipca Flexora, you have to take an insert out, load the film and then put it back in the camera.

The film tested was the Fomapan 400. There was a small problem with light leakage during development, but nothing that compromised the review. The results are what you would expect from the Fomapan 400 when paired with a German-made TLR camera and optics. Well-defined images and a very present grain. Contrast in high contrast areas in high contrast situations and flatter images on cloudy days. There is not much richness of detail in Fomapan 400, but this is not a top-of-the-line film, so we can't expect much more.

I hope you enjoyed the video. Subscribe to the channel for more experiments like this.
