Sensory input can help drive motor development. When working with patients and we are trying to improve overall function of the right hemisphere, using Blue glasses or blue eyesights can help provide additional sensory stimulation. I like to have my patients perform their exercises while having additional sensory stimulation. When wearing the blue eye lights, we like to have our patients have the lights to flash in the outside of the left eye and inside the right eye to help activate the neurological pathway to influence the right hemisphere.
