This video shows two new models of our terahertz wave sources at frequency ~ 95 GHz and output power 0.8 W and 1.8 W, respectively. Such advances are primarily achieved due to an innovative design of an enhanced power amplification circuit touted as “IMPATT +amplifier” technology.
Taking into account such gigantic might, it makes sense to outfit each source with an attenuator. The attenuator is offered as an optional add-on option, while the standard supply package remains the same and includes a built-in TTL modulation, protective isolator, AC/DC adapter, and anti-reflection cover. Summing up: our new wave sources are fully integrated, plug-and-play solutions that can be remotely controlled via a user-friendly software interface and USB port. We know very well that THz sources' output power matters much in the terahertz industry, especially in applications associated with non-destructive testing and quality control, where it enables THz imaging systems to increase the penetration depth in high density, thick or wet or materials.
