Before anything else, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who left kind messages, encouragement, and well wishes on the previous video. Your support truly meant more than you know during a very stressful time. 💚

In this episode, I begin by briefly recapping what happened during Storm Kristin and the aftermath it left behind.
I then take the dogs out to assess the damage along the trail. Fallen trees block the path, and with Storm Leonardo already making landfall and the wind picking up, I decide not to go any further. There were too many fragile trees, and safety had to come first.

Back on the homestead, my son helps me cut up part of a tree that snapped during the storm. I continue by salvaging what I can, including the composter and the greenhouse, followed by some light clearing around the land. There is still so much to do, but we are taking it one step at a time.

After inspecting the damage, we discovered some very welcome news. The pergola is salvageable. Sadly, the dog house did not make it and cannot be saved.

Slowly cleaning up, salvaging what we can, and moving forward after the storms.
