I made a small vacuum press to glue drop top on my guitar builds, and at this moment I am using this to glue a small maple veneer onto back side of the head cause I didn't like to see laminated figure at the head side.

Vacuum press, 460mmHg grade from local market
shop-made switch box, vinyl bag+air fittings, stands
a vacuum controller purchased at eBay which works fine so far
