A Tribute to my Sweet Rat Potato - Rest in Peace Sweet Spud 😞

I still can't believe my sweet Potato is gone...I may have only know her for ~2 months, but this old girl really did a number on my heart. I really truly thought she'd recover from her tumor surgery and live at least a few more months - I don't think the surgery itself was the cause of her passing as she was healing nicely for a while, at which point her hind legs suddenly stopped working and she passed suddenly. I suspect she was having mini strokes or seizures, although unfortunately even with extensive testing we don't know exact what happened.

I'm so glad that she at least remained alert, happy, active, and enjoying life until near the end - I saw her happy and alert just 2 hours before her passing so I know she didn't suffer, and it must have been a quick death. I still wish she was with us for a while longer, but baring that a quick and painless passing is the best I can ask for.

Rest peacefully my perfect Potato - I adored you and I know all your dwarf buddies are going to miss cuddling with you 💔
