Why do bad things happen to Christians?

All Christians suffer affliction. In fact, everybody on the face of the planet suffer affliction. Even a new born baby cries. But there is a difference between suffering because you want to buy a car or house and suffering for God. The car will run down some day, and the house can be taken by a higher power but God’s love never fails. Even if you don’t understand His love, I’m sure you can understand the language of the rod - punishment. So we must fear God.

God desires a certain outcome from this world. He has given man the mandate to build the cities. And His word said He made him righteous, perfect that he would do the task. But as you know, Adam ate the apple. So what now, man must undergo parenting. Discipline is crucial so that he is able to walk uprightly to complete the task to bring about righteousness, and peace to this world. And it starts with you.


Our suffering and sometimes untimely death (in our own perspective) serves as a sacrifice unto God for the remission of sin according to the will of God. This is the life that Christ lived and continues to live through us.

May the Lord strengthen us that we may continue to stand firm in the face of adversity.
