Today we jumped into Monster Sanctuary, a monster-collecting RPG that immediately made us ask an important question… is this better than Pokémon? 👀
Between team-based battles, skill trees for every creature, and surprisingly deep strategy, this game hooked us way faster than we expected.

This episode is all about first impressions — exploring the world, meeting our first monsters, learning how combat actually works, and realizing that team synergy matters a lot more than just picking our favorites 😅

Monster Sanctuary is a monster-taming RPG that blends turn-based combat with Metroidvania-style exploration. Instead of focusing on one creature at a time, battles are fought in teams of three, with skill trees, equipment, and deep customization shaping every build.
