After reaching the Premier League with Barnsley, other clubs have started to take notice, and now we move onto to a new, bigger challenge. Today we meet our new players, look round our new fm22 club, and generally discuss the time we spent at Barnsley.
In this football manager 2022 journeyman we attempt to go from non-league football to winning the Champions League. Starting with no coaching badges, we must make our way up the leagues, changing Football Clubs as opportunities present themselves in this football manager 2022 challenge.

Fm22 Journeyman rules
The aim of the save is to reach the top and win the European Champions League!
• Which football team do you start with?
Work out the lowest playable league in the country you live in (for me that's the Vanarama North/South) and choose the team that is closest to where you live! This is to add a bit of realism as you probably aren't going to be earning a lot of money, so don't want to be spending too much money or either travelling or moving house!

• Every decision we make is based on real life!
This includes, but is not limited to, moving club. If a club is offering you substantially more money than you are currently on, then it would make sense to move to that club (even if you are enjoying managing your current club!) This also means factoring in real-life considerations such as travel or relocation. Equally, you can't resign, as you have bills to pay, just like in real life!

• You can't search for players or staff via the search function.
For players, this means that you can only sign players that either your scouting team bring to you, are recommended by staff members, your director of football, or your players. This also means that sometimes you will get signings wrong, as your scouts will make a bad recommendation. For staff, you can only hire people who apply via a job advert, and you must also favour internal applications.

• You mustn't replace staff without reason.
You mustn't replace staff based on their attributes. You can replace them if they aren't doing a good job, for example if the team selection advise is completely off, or if your scouts consistently recommend bad signings.

• No outside knowledge must be bought into the game.
You can't use outside sources. So, no downloaded tactics, no looking at YouTube videos for the best wonderkids, downloaded training schedules etc.
