The Recipe:
7.98 ounces Lye (sodium hydroxide)
12.84 ounces distilled water (this is discounted by 5 ounces which will be added back in when you add in the soy milk).
23.28 ounces olive oil pure 42.33%
2.33 ounces castor oil 4.23%
5.82 ounces cocoa butter 10.58%
11.64 ounces solid at room temperature coconut oil 21.16%
0.29 ounces stearic acid 0.53%
11.64 ounces sweet almond oil 21.16%
Additives:
5 ounces soy milk (use one that is only made with soybeans and water like the Trader Joe’s shelf stable soy milk brand)
¼ cup cashew or soy yogurt
2.4 ounces of yeah for yummy (This is used at the maximum rate of 3% fragrance load). If you chose a different fragrance, make sure it is a non-acclerating fragrance and always check usage rates for soap.
½ teaspoon water soluble titanium dioxide dispersed in a scant amount of distilled water
1 teaspoon summer crush mica (NurtureSoap.Com)
1 teaspoon Rapunzel mica (NurtureSoap.Com)
Dried red rose petals to top the soap (optional)
