When I visited Chikmagalur a few months ago, I dropped into Tasty World Food Factory unannounced, and was taken in by the concept of the place that has provided for visitors an air-conditioned viewing gallery to look into the hygienic production of traditional Karnataka snacks and namkeen here. Needless to say, I had to return with my crew to film a Gourmet On The Road episode. I hope you enjoy this walk though what will soon be on every must-visit list in this coffee town, and my tasting of some of their interesting, homely tiffin preparations.
