जब Pregnancy Test पॉजिटिव आता है, लेकिन Ultrasound में Uterus में Baby नहीं दिखता, तो यह एक गंभीर स्थिति हो सकती है। कई बार Embryo ऐसी जगह Implant हो जाता है जहाँ वह Grow नहीं कर सकता, और यह माँ की Life के लिए खतरा बन सकता है।

मैं Dr. Supriya Puranik, Test Baby Consultant और Practicing Gynecologist पिछले 25 वर्षों से, आज Ectopic Pregnancy के कारण, लक्षण, Diagnosis और Treatment के बारे में विस्तार से बताऊंगी।

Ectopic Pregnancy क्या होती है?
सामान्य Pregnancy में Fertilized Egg, Uterus की Endometrial Lining में Implant होता है। लेकिन जब Pregnancy Test पॉजिटिव है, Beta hCG 2000 से ऊपर है, और Ultrasound में Uterus में Gestational Sac नहीं दिखता, तो Ectopic Pregnancy की संभावना होती है।

95% मामलों में Ectopic Pregnancy Fallopian Tube में होती है, लेकिन यह Ovary, Abdomen, Cervix, या C-Section Scar पर भी हो सकती है। अगर इसे समय पर नहीं पहचाना गया, तो यह जानलेवा हो सकती है।

Ectopic Pregnancy के Symptoms
इसके कुछ लक्षण सामान्य Pregnancy जैसे ही हो सकते हैं, लेकिन कुछ संकेत इसे अलग बनाते हैं:
Lower Abdominal Pain: यह एक तरफ (Right या Left) हो सकता है और Colicky (Spasmodic) Pain जैसा महसूस हो सकता है।
Shoulder Pain: आंतरिक Bleeding के कारण Referred Pain हो सकता है।
Dizziness या Lightheadedness: अगर Internal Bleeding अधिक हो, तो Blood Pressure गिर सकता है।
Vaginal Spotting या Bleeding: यह Menstrual Bleeding की तरह नहीं होती, बल्कि बहुत कम मात्रा में Spotting हो सकती है, जो Brown या Dark Red हो सकती है।
Beta hCG Level का Slow Rise: सामान्य Pregnancy में hCG हर 48 घंटे में Double होता है, लेकिन Ectopic Pregnancy में यह उतनी तेजी से नहीं बढ़ता।
अगर ये लक्षण महसूस हो रहे हैं, तो तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करें, क्योंकि Ectopic Pregnancy कभी-कभी अचानक Rupture हो सकती है और जानलेवा बन सकती है।

किन महिलाओं को अधिक Risk है?
कुछ महिलाओं में Ectopic Pregnancy की संभावना अधिक होती है, जैसे:
Pelvic Surgery: Fallopian Tube पर Surgery या C-Section।
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID): Chlamydia या Gonorrhea जैसी Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) के कारण Tubal Damage हो सकता है।
Endometriosis: इससे Fallopian Tubes में Scar Tissue बन सकता है।
Infertility Treatment: IVF या अन्य Fertility Treatments करवाने वाली महिलाओं को अधिक जोखिम होता है।
Previous Ectopic Pregnancy: अगर पहले एक बार Ectopic Pregnancy हो चुकी है, तो फिर से होने की संभावना 25% तक बढ़ जाती है।
Smoking: यह Fallopian Tube Motility को प्रभावित कर सकता है, जिससे Embryo गलत जगह Implant हो सकता है।
ध्यान रखें कि Ectopic Pregnancy किसी को भी हो सकती है, भले ही कोई बड़ा Risk Factor न हो।

Ectopic Pregnancy का Diagnosis कैसे होता है?
अगर किसी महिला को Pregnancy Test Positive आने के बाद भी Ultrasound में Uterus में Gestational Sac नहीं दिखता, तो आगे की जाँच जरूरी होती है:
Beta hCG Test: अगर hCG का स्तर बढ़ रहा है लेकिन उतनी तेजी से नहीं जितना सामान्य Pregnancy में होता है, तो यह संकेत हो सकता है।
Transvaginal Ultrasound (TVS): यह देखने के लिए कि Embryo, Fallopian Tube, Ovary, या कहीं और Implant नहीं हुआ।
Pelvic Examination: कभी-कभी Ectopic Pregnancy में Pelvic Exam के दौरान दर्द महसूस होता है।
