Today's class was themed around a card from the new Post-Traumatic Growth Card Deck. The Card is titled: Living in Limbo. The reading states:
“Living in limbo, you stand in the transitional space between the person you have been and the person you are becoming. This can feel unsettling, indeterminate, and undefined. You cannot see what lies ahead. You might feel frightened in the midst of change. However, transitional spaces are full of potential. That feeling of uncertainty is actually getting you ready for an updated version of yourself and your life. You may feel as though life is pulling you backward. Like the arrow held by the bow, life is actually preparing you to fly forward. What or who helps you trust the unknown?”

It is a class that supports transitions and the longing that many of us tend to have for certainty.

In the midst of uncertainty is when we need practices the most…to help you trust that you are here for a reason, that your life’s purpose will reveal itself in time.

Darling, stand tall inside the discomfort of change.
Let is wash over you.
Drink the water.
Eat the salt.
Tell your body it’s better than fine.
You are being cleansed and renewed
And you’ll love the new horizon.
But for now, you must trust
The moods of waves.

It’s ok
that you don’t know
how it will happen
quite yet.
The momentum is in place.
The river is moving.
The charge is alive.
This constant unfolding.
Stay with it.
Stay in it.

Don’t reach for the answers at this time.
They’ll eventually arrive and when they do,
They’ll be soft.
Much like an old friend
Stepping back into our lives
