Holy Name (3-13) hosts Normandy (8-9) in a GLC East clash on Senior Night. Holy Name dropped a tough contest Saturday 5-3 at CVCA. The night before, Elyria Catholic walked off the Green Wave in the 7th inning. Luck hasn't been with the Namers as of late but the Green and White look to flip the script heading into the playoff draw on May 5th. As for Normandy, they have been in and out of form. On one hand, they avenged a 9th inning loss at Benedictine with a 13-3 win in game to. They also have big wins over Bay and North Olmsted along with extra inning losses against Shaker Heights and Lakewood plus a one run loss to Rocky River. On the other hand, they split with Valley Forge. Plenty to play for to close out April.
