Ford's base model modern-day Citi Golf boasts a plethora of mainstream necessities - all apart from electric windows. Bluetooth radio, central locking, power steering, airbags, and enough space inside for a small gathering. A salt-of-the-earth 1.4L fuel injected Ford motor will give you endless mileage, affordable fuel economy, cheap maintenance, and reliability that will get you to and from every braai safely.

The car feels sturdy and safe in comparison to many new brands on the road currently, and, personally, despite its age, it would take preference over a newer model small engined "student" car, and with Ford's established dealer network, you can't go wrong when it comes to parts availability.
