Why Biden does not want to quit the presidential race

An embattled United States President Joe Biden said in a televised interview on Friday (Jul 5) that he will only quit the White House race "if the Lord Almighty came down" and told him to do so. He was back out on the campaign trail on Sunday, desperate to salvage his re-election bid. Mr Jared Mondschein, director of research at the United States Studies Centre, tells CNA's Asia Now why he thinks Biden is so reluctant to drop out of the presidential race.
