Sanjay and Ajay are BFFs, but with differences. Bizarre-yet-expected turns of events drive them apart, only to see them reunited in the end.

The two friends and their visions of life and the self-centered lovers form the crucifixion of Mahanubhavas (noble souls). The first half of the film only features friends Sanjay (Gokul Raj) and Ajay (Balachander) expressing thoughts about life to each other.While Ajay, the disciplinarian, says that life planning should be done to a T, Sanjay insists on living in the moment, while working towards achieving the goal he sets for himself.

The script perfectly divides the film between the two friends, who both have equal share of duets and heartbreak songs.

Director Sandeep's technique of telling the BFFs' story in different ways through innumerable bits of flashbacks, especially in the first half, is a big challenge for editor R D Ravi. He aces his task. Since the film runs on only one track, the audience has no choice but to watch the faces of the two protagonists. It seems, it literally has cinematographer NTA Veeresh's hands tied. In the two soothing numbers (music by Satish Maurya), the cameraman shows the eye-pleasing locations in Sasihitalu of South Kannada through the lens.

To portray the complexities of life, love and friendship, the screenplay is dialogue-heavy. The so-called comic relief that comes in the guise of a van driver also melts away in the medley of serious characters.

Not much can be said about the characters, as they remain symbols of what they play. But together, they drive the message home – that the ideal way to approach life is with a mix and match of what these two characters believe and live.

It is interesting to note that the entire cast and crew (but for the editor) comprises the first film.
