Located in the States North Arts and Entertainment District of Baltimore, the L-shaped Graffiti Alley allows street artists to relieve stress and create colorful art without fear of being locked up. It’s hard to predict what designs one is going to see, considering how frequently it’s repainted throughout the year. Every square inch of wall space in graffiti alley is filled with flamboyant color - even the trash cans and the light posts are painted over. With the street lamps turned on, the alley is well lit at night and looks colorful. Overall, Graffiti Alley is a very cool place for taking pictures, and something different to see.

While the city of Baltimore spends over $300,000 annually to clean walls throughout the city, Graffiti Alley helps Baltimore save money on removing illegally painted graffiti. The Alley also serves as a place for those not as aware of the art form to learn a new appreciation for it. The space is available to rent for a fee for people wanting to use the gallery for an eye-catching background. Undoubtedly, the Alley helps support local street artists not only by providing a place to make art but also providing a space for selling artwork.
