In deze instructievideo staat de Britse kolonie in India centraal. De vraag die centraal staat is: waardoor werd India in de 19e eeuw de belangrijkste kolonie binnen het Britse Rijk? Het Mogolrijk, de East India Company, het Verdrag van Allahabad, de 'white man's burden' gedachte, de Grote Opstand en de oprichting van het Indian National Congress komen allemaal aan bod.
