Detroit pulled off a statement win tonight — 44–30 over Dallas — and there’s a lot to break down.
   •   Jahmyr Gibbs carried the day with three rushing touchdowns, leading Detroit’s ground game and putting Dallas on their heels. 
   •   Jared Goff wasn’t silent either — he threw for 309 yards and a passing touchdown, spreading the field and finding his play-makers all night long. 
   •   The Lions did damage in the pass game too: bombed it out to Jameson Williams (96 yards) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (92 yards), keeping Dallas’ defense honest. 
   •   On defense, Detroit forced 3 turnovers — the kind of pressure that swings games — and turned mistakes into points. 
   •   Meanwhile, Dallas tried to fight back: Dak Prescott threw for 376 yards and a TD, and Ryan Flournoy caught 9 balls for 115 yards and a score. 
   •   But the night struck a blow when CeeDee Lamb left with a concussion after a scary end-zone attempt in the 3rd quarter — a push from playoff hunt to crisis mode for the Cowboys. 

What went right for Detroit: Balanced offense, physical running game, opportunistic defense forcing turnovers, and spreading the ball to multiple weapons even with injuries/hustles stacked against them.

What went wrong for Dallas: Turnovers, injuries, relying too heavily on a few stars, and not enough execution when it counted — especially after losing their No. 1 receiver.
