How to make an amazing battery charging station with a built in outlet. I also made woodworking plans, which are on my website. I'll be using my DeWalt table saw for most of this build. Workshop organization tips to improve efficiency. I have several brands of power tool batteries and chargers, and my shop is getting messy. I hate having a disorganized workshop, so it's time to finally build a universal battery charging station.

I started off with making woodworking plans. Then I ran to Home Depot to pick up some expensive wood. When in the heck are lumber prices going to come down!? Then I followed my woodworking plans to make sure they were perfect. I ripped everything down on my table saw and cut it to length with my miter saw. Then I assembled the frame, back and inner pieces with wood glue and brad nails.

Not needing to complicate things, I kept it simple and even added a power outlet so I didn't lose the one I covered. Now my Ridgid and Milwaukee Tool batteries and chargers have a home.
