So its time to replace the rear wiper blade....simple procedure? Yes and no. Its easy when you know what steps are needed which aren't many but they are important. The wiper blade is removed by rotating the old wiper blade 90 degrees from its normal position. The issue is that the arm will not come off the glass far enough to allow you to perform this. What needs to be done first is removal of the plastic pivot cover which also hides the wiper arm mounting nut. You need to pull each side of the pivot cover losse and lift it off the arm. Once off, the arm will now lift far enough off the back glass to allow you to rotate the blade the needed 90 degrees inorder to remove it from the wiper arm. Once off you need to position the new blade in place and rotate it back to the normal position. You will feel a snap once its back in place. Now with the wiper blade back on the glass, you can now reinstall the pivot arm cover and the job is now done.
