भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन आज दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा कमर्शियल सैटेलाइट ब्लू बर्ड ब्लॉक-2 लॉंच करने वाला है।
ये लॉंच अब से थोड़ी देर बाद सुबह 8 बजकर 54 मिनट पर श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष से होगा। इस ब्लू बर्ड ब्लॉक-2 सैटेलाइट को अमेरिकी कंपनी AST Space Mobile द्वारा डेवलप किया गया है और इसे भारत के सबसे शक्तिशाली रॉकेट LVM-3 के ज़रिये धरती की कक्षा में पहुंचाया जाएगा। इस ऐतिहासिक मिशन में अगली पीढ़ी के कम्युनिकेशन सैटेलाइट को लो ऑर्बिट अर्थ में तैनात किया जाएगा...इस सैटेलाइट को दुनिया भर में सीधे स्मार्टफोन तक 4G/5G हाई-स्पीड सेल्युलर ब्रॉडबैंड उपलब्ध कराने के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है..। एएसटी स्पेस मोबाइल कम्पनी का दावा है कि इस सेटेलाइट के सफल लॉन्च के बाद 6 अरब मोबाइल यूजर को बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी।

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the world's largest commercial satellite, BlueBird Block-2, today.
The launch will take place shortly, at 8:54 AM, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. This BlueBird Block-2 satellite has been developed by the American company AST SpaceMobile and will be launched into Earth's orbit using India's most powerful rocket, the LVM-3. This historic mission will deploy a next-generation communication satellite into low Earth orbit. This satellite is designed to provide 4G/5G high-speed cellular broadband directly to smartphones worldwide. AST SpaceMobile claims that after the successful launch of this satellite, 6 billion mobile users will experience improved connectivity.
