Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Lil Sokz first started composing in middle school. He focused on remixing songs, which attracted a diverse group of listeners. Lil Sokz spent 4 years in Massachusetts, studying music at Wheaton College. Today Lil Sokz continues to express himself through the fusion of reggae and hip-hop. His laidback vibes are fuelled with deep, hard-hitting bass and drum rhythms that are the bedrock for hypnotic riddims, all of which compliment the infectious melodies that are smooth as silk.
