This is a direct feed recording of my personal best at Darius Burst's Burst Mode, using the Next type ship, clearing the game for a counterstop on the ABCEI route.

In this run I take the upper route to Zone I to fight Thousand Knives, which I find is the easier to the routes to score high on. Thousand Knives itself is a tricky boss to fight, but with defensive use of the Burst Laser, you can avoid most of its patterns comfortably. The run was fairly decent, with very few mistakes save missing a few target points on various bosses, and a few hits in stages. All bosses were taken down with the Burst Counter at around 15-16x multiplier for big bonuses.

Note that there is a bug in the game that won't register any points to your score if the points total puts you over the maximum amount possible - in this run I did counterstop the score counter, as the 1mil for No Miss at the end of the game wasn't registered to my total score. It is possible to counterstop a lot earlier through more accurate scoring on this route, especially if a method for Mirage Castle is discovered that allows you to destroy every one of its armor pieces.
