3197 is seen between the Sydney Tramway Museum and Sutherland Shops

This bus is an Associated Equipment Company Regal IV 9823E with a Clyde Engineering body. This bus was built in August 1959 and was withdrawn from Brookvale depot in 1978. Being a second series underfloor this bus replaced the remaining trams and some of the older buses.

As you may remember this bus was one of the buses which went on the Burwood/Enfield tour back in 2014. Apologies for the shaky video. The suspension on this bus is really bouncy.
