Natsuho Murata : 20th Kloster Schöntal Int'l Violin Competition /DAY5(AG2, 2nd round) on 28/08/2024

Natsuho Murata ( 17, Japan ) participated in Day 5 ( 2nd round ) of the 20th International Violin Competition held in Kloster Schöntal (Baden-Württemberg), Germany from August 22nd to 31st, 2024, and advanced to Finals Day 1on 29/08/2024.

This year‘s participants: 55 young violinists from all around the world were grouped into three age groups such as Age Group 1 ( AG1; up to 15 age ), Age Group 2 (AG2; up to 18 age) and Age 3 (AG2; up to 21 age )

Natsuho performed the following 3 pieces with piano accompaniment on Day 5 ( 2nd round ) on 28/08/2024.

・Ludwig van Beethoven - Violin Sonata No. 4 in A minor, Op. 23 ( 0:55～17:15 )
I. Presto
II. Andante scherzoso, più allegretto
・Camille Saint-Saëns - Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso Op.28 ( 17:55～27:20 )
・Pablo de Sarasate - Zapateado Op 23 No 2 ( 28:00～31:20 )

Venue : in the Grand Hall at Kloster Schöntal

(＊) Ms. Natsumi Ohno is currently active as a collaborative pianist at the International Violin Competition, Musik Festival, Music Academy, etc. She is a full-time faculty at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater and Medien Hannover.
