Why do Yoyo players use gloves ?

Thanks for the support guys. So every now and then I see a comment on a freestyle with a beginner player asking "Why is that player wearing gloves".

As a player that has competed with and without gloves I decided to make a video explaining it from my point of view.

Summary

Gloves protect your hands, allow you to play faster and prolong your string life. However gloves eliminate some of the feedback which makes it more difficult to land complex tech tricks. Also gloves make it difficult to get out of knots ;)
