"Regenerative tourism, a paradox?" Bill Reed, Anna Pollock & Daniel Wahl in conversation

On Monday, March 14th I caught up with my friends Anna Pollock and Bill Reed. Anna had just come back from a long tour of Mexico visiting many amazing local projects and yet she felt rather disillusioned by the propositions or false promises that many people are now making about regenerative tourism.

Departing from the admission that neither of us know what 'regenerative tourism' might look like, this is more of a open ended exploration among friends in the work, in which we openly share our own current reflections about whether and how tourism might help to weave regenerative patterns of relationship between people and place.
