This is the 2023 port of Cotton 100% being played on Xbox Series S.
I always heard the Cotton games mentioned along with the "cute em up" subgenre, and was pleasantly surprised to see this release pop up on Xbox.
I wish more of the modern-retro indie shmups would go with horizontal scrolling natively instead of vertical. Original version of the game, Märchen Adventure Cotton, was released in 1994.
