I believe it was a few years ago when Anton sent me a brief note, expressing his love for some music I made and also offering me free use of his photographs for album artworks. I began to wander the landscapes of the Russian Kola Peninsula as seen through Anton's lens (mainly via his Flickr profile). I felt a kinship develop, perhaps most clearly felt in our reverence for the beauty of the natural world; the immensity of the skies and the wonder of exploring this grandeur from a human perspective. Anton's photographic art now adorns several of my music releases (with more to come).⁣

Eventually, I discovered his ethereal guitar songs which to me are reminiscent of works from Robin Guthrie, Manual and July Skies among other artists I love. So my collaboration with Anton turned musical and took shape in the mini-album Autumn Sky, released by Stereoscenic Records. Our natural connection has become a friendship across distances, and I will always look forward to us embarking on new creative adventures together.
