Cut to the Chase is a video series that focuses on taking B-movies and trimming the fat. Many B-movies have an awesome 20-30 minutes in them but have a lot of long, boring scenes that can make them hard to enjoy. Cut to the Chase is about presenting these movies in their best light by cutting these parts out while preserving as much of the story as possible.

This episode of Cut to the Chase features Ancient Evil: Scream of the Mummy from 1999. This David Decoteau horror movie features some familiar sights for those that have experience with Decoteau's work. Hammy acting and tropes abound in this low budget flick. As a kind of experiment, I decided to add a few extra gags into the movie during editing. I apologize for any ads that appear during the video. It was not my choice but a long section of the movie was copyright claimed and there was no way to edit around it.
