👉1857 के स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में एक नाम बांके चमार का भी था. जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के जौनपुर तहसील के मछली शहर स्थित कुंवरपुर गांव में हुआ था. तब जौनपुर में क्रांतिकारियों का एक समूह सक्रिय था. जिसके नेता हरपाल सिंह थे.

👉1857 की क्रांति विफल होने पर 18 लोग बागी घोषित किए गए थे, उनमें बांके चमार का नाम प्रमुख था. अंग्रेज उन्हें पकड़ने और सजा देने को बेताब हो रहे थे. आखिरकार अपने सारे प्रयास कर लेने के बाद अंग्रेजों ने 50 हजार रुपये की बड़ी रकम ईनाम की घोषणा कर दी.

👉उस वक्त में वीरा पासी के बाद बांके दूसरे ऐसे क्रांतिकारी थे, जिसके लिए अंग्रेजों ने 50 हजार रुपये इनाम की घोषणा की थी. जिस जमाने में एक आना और दो आने की कीमत थी, उस दौर में 50 हजार रुपये की कीमत आप समझ सकते हैं.उस दौर में यह रकम अंग्रेजों द्वारा घोषित की जाने वाली सबसे बड़ी रकम होती थी.

👉एक दिन अपने एक साथी द्वारा मुखबिरी करने के बाद बांके गिरफ्तार कर लिए गए. उन पर मुकदमा चला और अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें 18 क्रांतिकारियों के साथ फ़ांसी पर लटका दिया गया. इस तरह यह वीर सपूत मातृभूमि के लिए शहीद हो गया.

👉बांके पर अंग्रेजों ने 50 हजार रुपए का ईनाम घोषित किया था.बांके चमार एक बहुत बड़े क्रांतिकारी थे जो अंग्रेजों के लिए बहुत बड़ा खतरा बन चुका था। ऐसे बहुत कम क्रांतिकारियों के नाम हैं जिन पर अंग्रेजों ने 50 हजार रुपए का ईनाम घोषित किया गया था।

👉बांके चमार की इतनी बड़ी शहादत को इतिहास के पन्नों में दर्ज नहीं किया जाना नाइंसाफी है। इसका कारण बांके चमार का अछूत जाति का होना है. क्या जाति, धर्म और वर्ग के आधार पर बलिदान को आंकना उचित है? बलिदान तो बलिदान होता है और वह जाति, वर्ग, धर्म और संप्रदाय से ऊपर होता है. उसके साथ किसी भी तरह का भेदभाव करना शहादत की पवित्रता को घटाना है. इतिहासकारों ने ऐसा ही काम किया. इससे बांके की शहादत का महत्व कम नहीं हुआ.

👉लेकिन स्वतंत्रता के बाद निष्पक्ष और ईमानदार इतिहासकारों ने न केवल हमें उनके बलिदान और बलिदान से परिचित कराया बल्कि उन्हें एक महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के रूप में इतिहास में स्थान भी दिया।

🔴Banke Chamar was also one of the freedom fighters of 1857. He was born in Kunwarpur village located in the fish town of Jaunpur tehsil of Uttar Pradesh. Then a group of revolutionaries was active in Jaunpur. Whose leader was Harpal Singh.

🔴One day, Banke was arrested after being an informer by one of his accomplices. He was tried and hanged by the British along with 18 revolutionaries. In this way this brave son became a martyr for the motherland.

🔴It is unfair not to record such a great martyrdom of Banke Chamar in the pages of history. The reason for this is that Banke Chamar is an untouchable caste. Is it fair to judge sacrifice on the basis of caste, religion and class? Sacrifice is sacrifice and it is above caste, class, religion and sect. To discriminate against him in any way is to reduce the sanctity of martyrdom. Historians did the same thing. This did not diminish the importance of Banke's martyrdom.
