Legacy Ninja Megazord vs 1995 DX Ninja Megazord/Kakure Daishogun

Hey guys, Bandai's Power Rangers Legacy Ninja Megazord is here! In this video I'll compare it to the original Ninja Megazord, also showing the new articulation and how White Falconzord attaches. I don't know why there was so much confusion about the sword, I clarified the confusion in this video, only resulting in further confusion! October 2016: Legacy Megazord now appearing in stores! SKU 661574

WHERE IS HIS SWORD?!?
This Megazord first appeared in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, back in 1994. The Megazord had caps over animal heads as fists. It was physically incapable of holding a sword, it didn't have hands! Just closed fists. The DX toy (Kakure Daishogun) reflected this, transforming exactly the same as it did on TV. That ends that!
But there's more! On June 30, 1995, the Power Rangers movie was released, where the rangers lost their Thunderzords and had to find new Ninjazords. This movie created a CGI version of the Megazord, which briefly used the Shogun Megazord's sword (swiftly destroyed by Ivan). However, don't be fooled by the packaging with the movie logo! It was an imported DX Kakure Daishogun in a new box, with new stickers, and the crane was pink. It still had animal heads that were covered with fist-caps and was not capable of holding the sword which it did not come with. (Though the Ape Zord did have his own swords that he could hold, included with every DX release.)
Following the movie on September 2, 1995, Power Rangers aired season 3, where the movie never happened, Rito destroyed the Thunderzords and Ninjor gave them new Zords. Same Zord footage as in Japan. No sword.
So, never on the TV show in the US or Japan, did this Megazord hold a sword, and we only had one DX release both in the US & Japan, neither of which could hold a sword. Regardless of packaging, Bandai never made a variant of this Megazord. What you saw in the movie was only ever made as a custom. The closest Zords we got to the movie were from McDonald's.
STILL NOT DONE! Now, having said all of that, a smaller non-transforming version with chrome WAS released, for everyone who neglected our EPIC Titano Charge video that was linked in this video!:    • EPIC Titano Charge Megazord Battle & ...   There is the figure that held a sword. It's not accurate to TV, or even to the movie. But that's the one that holds a sword. Over 16 years of demonstrating excessive knowledge on this (very important) topic and I have yet to prove to people I know the first thing about Power Rangers. 🤪
