Renovating Old Japanese Houses (ft. Alex Kerr)

I mentioned in my most recent video of my visit to the Iya Valley and Utazu in Shikoku with author Alex Kerr, who has renovated 40 old minka and machiya houses around Japan, that I would show some of these houses in more detail. So in this video Alex shows us around four houses that are now in use as guest houses and explains some of the features and design choices they have made.
