I am working on remembering what it was I was doing with this PET and I needed to test it with a 4040 disk drive...I really need to work on getting discouraged when things go bad...not a bad thing to step back and ponder and re-assess, but I can not leave things sitting for months because I make a foolish mistake...indeed, it is time to get back in the game! And, why does this IEEE cable not work when it is firmly attached, but it does when it the screws are loosened? Why?
