You will see how I drain the sediment out of my tank, then I replace the anode rod, the thermostats and then the heating elements. This is a DIY project that any handy person can take on. Best part is it's not a long process and the parts are not expensive. Armed with this knowledge you will save $$$ on water heater repair/replacement costs in the future.

These are powered anode rod's they are the best you can get. Never have to replace them again and they eliminate egg/sulfer smell. Worth the price if you can afford them.
